TransNational is certified by NZ Transport Agency to translate overseas driver licences into English. ALL OVERSEAS DRIVER LICENCES (including European countries that are half in English) must be translated into English and certified. Euro licences are not valid on their own. In the event of a traffic accident, vehicle insurance is void and drivers are fined for driving without a valid NZ licence or a certified translation.
Translation of driver licences takes only 2 days. Same day express service is also available. Driver licence translations are $46.00 (including GST) plus $2.00 fast post (total $48.00). Same day service is $69.00 (including GST). The system is simple, you can scan and email or fax a copy of the licence to us and we can start to process it. We do not need to see the original licence. Translations can be emailed, faxed back or posted anywhere in New Zealand.
